Focusing Leaders

Had an inspiring final meeting for Alan's and Robin's networks yesterday, then a productive Executive Committee meeting. It is encouraging to me to be a part of purposeful growth and focused impact with such a mature and capable group of people!

Now it's time to encourage each other virtually. Can we get some of our PCS or other thoughts on the web?

Without a clear consensus on which dates are best, I'm going to stick my neck out and say

Tuesday - Friday, June 29 - July 2 facilitating networks

Friday, Aug 6 coaching participants

These are ALL DAY meetings, with preparation work to do in the evenings, sooooo I'd really like to make the first four days a residential retreat. I was thinking we could all go to the Hyatt in JB for the four days and I will pay for it out of the fees you are paying for the retreat ($500 for the 5 days).

Pastor How Beng has offered to look into Austin Hills, where our network went for a retreat two years ago.

I know it will be harder to get away for four days, but I think it will make a much more conducive environment for learning together, especially since you have to prepare in the evenings for running the next day's network session, and at a hotel I'll be available to help.

I'm bringing two other colleagues to help, Keith from Indonesia and John from China.

I'm also allowing three participants who haven't been in networks - a worker from Singapore in China, a worker from Singapore in Indonesia, and a worker from Manila mentoring men in Singapore.

This will be a great time of review, renewal, and growing closer together!

Before I even got all the invitations out, Joel Lam from Robin's network had signed up. Then Robin hinself, then Peter Poon, a self-described "techie."

Hope this generates some helpful discussions, information sharing, and personal updates.

This is a site just for network participants. It's a forum where we can share our pcs, post helpful resources we find, or share personal updates and thoughts.
